WILLIAM FERGUSON

Justice of the Peace – Precinct 3

Justice with Integrity.

Peace Through Leadership.

Welcome, friends and neighbors.

I’m William Ferguson, and I’m honored to be a candidate for Justice of the Peace for Fort Bend County Precinct 3.

For 33 years, I have served Fort Bend County as a Texas peace officer — protecting our families, responding in moments of crisis, and standing for fairness when it mattered most. I’ve raised my family here. I’ve built a business here. And I’ve served our community as a Sugar Land City Council member, working every day to make this county safer, stronger, and more united.

Today, Precinct 3 needs a Justice of the Peace who brings integrity, experience, and steady conservative leadership to one of the most important roles in local government.

MEET WILLIAM FERGUSON

A Lifetime of Service.

A Heart for Justice.

A Commitment to Fort Bend County.

For more than 33 years, I have dedicated my life to serving and protecting the people of Fort Bend County. My journey began in March of 1992, when I took his oath as a Texas Peace Officer with the City of Stafford. Since that day, I have worn the badge with humility, honor, and unwavering dedication — serving with the Stafford Police Department, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, and now as a Reserve Lieutenant with Precinct 1.

I have spent my entire adult life committed to the safety, strength, and well-being of this community. My wife and I raised our family in Fort Bend County, living 15 years in Pecan Grove and the last 18 years in Greatwood. Fort Bend isn’t just where I work — it’s home.

In 2020, the people of Sugar Land entrusted me with a new responsibility: serving as an At-Large Sugar Land City Council Member. During my five years on council (2020–2025), I championed public safety, fiscal responsibility, economic growth, accountability, and good governance. I earned a reputation for being steady under pressure, honest to the core, and unafraid to speak the truth — even when it wasn’t politically convenient.

I am also a lifelong entrepreneur who understands the challenges and rewards of building something from the ground up. As a small-business owner, I have created local jobs, supported local families, and contributed to the economic vitality of Fort Bend County.

Why William is Running for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3

I believe that the office of Justice of the Peace must be built on fairness, responsiveness, and integrity — values I have lived every day of my 33-year law-enforcement career.

Justice of the Peace courts handle some of the most important responsibilities affecting everyday families, including:

  • mental health warrants,

  • evictions and landlord-tenant matters,

  • small claims cases,

  • school attendance issues,

  • magistrations,

  • and many of the first steps in the criminal-justice process.

I understand that these decisions require compassion, patience, and a clear commitment to justice. I also understands how critical timely action is — especially when families, hospitals, law enforcement, or vulnerable individuals are waiting on a judge’s response.

My guiding principle is simple:

Fort Bend County deserves a Justice of the Peace who respects the job, responds quickly, and serves with integrity every single day.

THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE IS TO CREATE IT

WILLIAM'S Commitment
to Precinct 3

I will respond quickly and responsibly to mental-health warrant needs — something our hospitals, law enforcement, and families depend on.

I will serve with humility and compassion, knowing that every person who stands before the court is someone’s neighbor, someone’s child, someone who deserves to be treated with dignity.

I will ensure fairness in every decision, guided by my decades of real-world experience serving our county.

I will protect the conservative values that built Fort Bend County: responsibility, accountability, faith, family, and freedom.
